| nipping hello everybody, my puppie is now around 5 months old, she is a nice little girl and she is good at sleeping and house obedience now, however she nips at me and me only, its not all agressive but she does jump up at me and nips at my clothes hands and feets she launches herself at me, i tel her no in a firm voice. I do have another do khan who is nearly 2 and he is the gentlist giant ever whenever i stroke him and she is around she jumps on him and tries for my attention. any helps would be greatly appreciated thank you very much xxx |

| Re: nipping She is being a normal puppy. Sounds like she needs more outlets for her energy and that she's nipping you out of frustration, probably to get attention (even if it's negative attention). Work on walking her more, or getting her to a safe park/field and letting her have a good run once a day. Do you have any puppy classes near you that you could enroll in? You'll find that training really takes a lot out of a dog, they come home tired and happy. The homework that you'll have each week will also give you something else to do with her.
