Talking Potty Training!

Three days ago I got my first puppy, Cinnamon, a small female rottweiler. She is 8 weeks old and a few days. I am just having a problem with her peeing on the carpet(the ocasional poop in the bathroom floor) How do I get her potty trained quickley.

Thanks

Re: Potty Training!

personally i would have moved out of the apartment and into a new place. come to think of it, that is exactly what I did. i stopped paying rent (got into an arguement with the landlord over the pet and forced him to release me from my lease without reprimand(sp) and bought a condo for myself which allows all kinds of pets. currently in the building there are chows, pit bulls, rotties, and the ever so fearful terrorist jack russel :)

I would tell him you work for the media and if he would like to express his views then get him to call ME (email me ill send you my number!) How dare he pick on you, you have rights you know. I hope you dont have to leave your pup, god if your landlord was in England id show him ggggrrrrrr.

Didn't you think to ask about that BEFORE you got the puppy? What breeder sold you a puppy without knowing if your landlord would let you keep it? How sad for the puppy.

I'd move for sure. I wouldn't support that mentality. I should add I am a genetically born rebel.

Re: Potty Training!

I didnt get her from a breeder because this is my first dog, I got her from a pet store and I called them and they said i can take the dog back to them and they will re-sale her and we get the profit. Im only 14 years old so i couldnt do anything about moving. My dad is on a travel assignment with the hospital so we cant leave 'cuz we wouldnt have a job. I did check with them before and the rule was writtin somewhere else and after she was confronted she put it on the website. I would, excuse me, like to choke her.

Re: Potty Training!

Are you people reading the whole post?? She says she's 14! I'd think it better to take out the meanest on a parent than the child!

I was thinking the same thing. I didn't know until after I posted to her in another thread. I feel kinda silly myself.

Re: Potty Training!

Opps! Never saw the 14 years old until now in this post. I generally don't read every post in many other threads.

Where did you, as a 14 yo child, get the money to buy a puppy from a petstore? Where were your parents in this purchase?

How you got your dog--on thoughtless, clueless impulse--is entirely relevant. It is foolish, irresponsible people like you--and your father--who are the problem.

Do you have any idea where dogs in pet stores come from? Start reading about puppy mills; you'll doubtless have your eyes opened and learn something.

The elementary level of your questions and your astonishment and disappointment that the owner of your building had something to say about the fact you got a Rottweiler does make me "sick"--but not in the head.

Re: Potty Training!

Im so glad of your maturity in a situation like this. Also i forgot how you know everything. Giving me a hard time and basically calling me an idiot, also calling my father an idiot. Well you know what? i doubt your any smarter than i am especially my dad. Also you did not mension how i got my dog you asked how i got the money, Not your business anyways. Also i do know where the dog came from, She came from someone who donated her because they had to move and couldnt take the dog. The lady was just looking for something to complain about because she has control issues, and i know that because of talking to other people in the apartment complex that said the same exact things. I was looking for support and not problems from someone who has nothing better to do than irritate me for something that has already happend. I would appriciate if you left the post intierly. If you dont have something nice to say dont say anything at all therefore i regret my comment "are you sick in the head"
