| 5.5 Month old Female Puppy - 50.5 lbs Jazmine got weighed before getting spayed today, she is at 50.5 lbs - gained exactly 10lbs in the past 30 days. Will the spay slower her growth and gain weight? Her mom was supposely 120 lbs and the father was around a 100lbs. At the rate she's going how big do you think she'll get? She's a fit but big puppy? (very sloppy, are all rott pupies sloppy?) |

| Re: 5.5 Month old Female Puppy - 50.5 lbs At her current rate of gain and if she is not fat, and according to the weights of her sire and dam, I would venture to say that she will probably be in the 90 lb. range when she matures. If you are not really sure of how big her dam was, that could fluctuate a bit. She sure is growing up!

| Re: 5.5 Month old Female Puppy - 50.5 lbs She sounds like a nice healthy pup. And about 85-90 lbs sounds like a nice mature weight, which some dogs do not attain until fully 3 years old. Spaying does not alter the process, or speed it up. They are a large breed animal and on average, thats how long it takes.
