| Rescued puppy together with puppy Rotti On my walk back from shop this afternoon, I have found a puppy of what I think is a Terrier or similar. I don't think she is older than about 6-7wks. I called the vet but he can only see us on Monday. I brought her home as I did not have the heart to leave her on the street. As you all know, I have a 14wks old Rotti - boy. The introduction was pretty wild in the sense, that they were biting each other on ears, butts, legs...but I don't think rough in any way as none of them made any sounds that would suggest that. They both also wiggle their tails...all 100% supervised and for short times before being separated again. Please...any suggestions on having two puppies? We are discussing if to keep her or popped down to local animal shelter and try to find her home. |

| Too late now, but my first suggestion would be to keep any stray away from your puppy until given a clean bill of health from the vet and an "incubation period". You have no idea what the found pup has been exposed to. Even though there has already been exposure, I'd keep them apart until the pup has been given a clean bill of health. |

| Yes, you should still be concerned. Vaccinations cover some disease, but not all, nor do they cover parasites, intestinal, fleas, etc.

| PS, you should also know she might have escaped from someone's garden and it would not be nice to keep her without making every effort to find out who she belongs to. Run an ad, put up fliers and contact all vets in the area.

| Also, you might call the animal shelter to see if the owner called the shelter to see if the pup had been turned in.
