Growing puppy - questions

Jazmin is on her growth spur and also loosing her baby teeth. She has been under the weather for the past week. She's my first rottweiler and first dog. I have a few questions:

Do puppies hurt when they're going through this stage?

She's been looking tired, she looks depressed (her eyes look sad). She has been on antibiotics for the past two weeks. Could the medicine be causing this behavior?

Sometimes she just sits there and stares at me, I try the exciting tone and puppy talk and she looks at me like I'm nuts.

She plays a little, but is not as hyper as usual. I know rottweilers are not very hyper dogs to begin with but is this normal?

Losing baby teeth can be painful for them. However - what is she on antibiotics for? Have you spoken to your vet about her behavior? Is she eating/drinking/pooping normally? I would definitely give your vet a call and if there's any question at all, take her in for an appointment. Always better to be safe than sorry.

I would call the vet too...if she the antibiotics are not agreeing with her perhaps they can switch her to something else.

Because I start to train my puppies very early, I can see subtle differences in them when they are not quite themselves.

When Wicca's baby molars were coming out and then the adult ones coming in, both I and my trainer noticed a difference in her mood, her drive during this. She was sleepier at home as well. But it all lasted about a week and then she moved on.

Course now she is in another fear stage - never ending with these puppies ....

She's on antibiotics for a UTI - Ecoli. She's eating, drinking and pooping just fine. Just seems tired for the past week or so. My regular vet won't be in till tomorrow.

Oscar's teething big time....there was some blood on one of his soft chewies yesterday. Poor guy. BUT he's the complete opposite behavior. He is sooooooooooo not mellow, in fact he's bouncing off the walls hyper (way more then the norm) and he's been a total brat. He's even started trying to do his playful nipping (not so playful on my body! haha) and mouthing your hands etc. We thought we'd gotten through the worst as he's really improved the last few weeks. Then the past 2 days he's been hell on paws. haha!

Is it normal for some pups to react the opposite of sleepy/drowsy etc?
