I'll just point out that I believe that the ingredients in the Pedigree sold in the UK are substantially better than those in the Pedigree sold in North America. This was the case the last time I checked anyway. While I do think it's true TO A POINT that the best food is the one your dog does best on, I think foods like Pedigree (and anything else available in the grocery store for that matter) are well below my minimum standard for nutrition for my dog. Too much grain, too many by-products, in general the ingredients are both low-quality and inappropriate (dogs don't need that much grain and filler by any stretch of the imagination).

You are welcome - just remember to switch over gradually because even if the food you are leaving behind is worse - your dog may act sick on the new food if it is a sudden change - so it won't be the fault of the new food - but the changing too fast

I went today to a place called Dogs R Us and they had three differant choices for the Nutro. I got a sample of the Max what do you guys think of that? Has anyone on here tried it? Is there another one that someone could recommend
