Just Got My Pup Yesterday

His first day home went better than I expected... he is smarter than what I gave him credit for... Anways, just wondering, how long to wait until I get him use to wearing a collar... I purcahsed a small nylon collar that I put on him for about 30minutes at a time yesterday but each and everytime it was on.. he would act a mess.. Other than that, he did great... He wines in his crate for about 10 minutes but afterwards he just sits there and chews on his toys and falls asleep.. He has the biting thing going on but I've read so much on that here that I dort of know how to stop that... All in all, everything is great.. He's sleeping now which gave me some time to sneak to my pc and visit the board...

Also, when pups are teething is it better soothing to chew hard things or soft things ??? His attention span from one toy to the next to nothing at all is very small... I have to keep him interested, which is not a problem, but I just wanted to know if there is something definitely that would sooth his teeth aches a little better...

Put his collar on him and then PLAY with him so he forgets that the collar is on him.

Don't give him the opportunity to remember that the collar is on.
