| OB training for a puppy ??? Hey guys, It's me again, have another question for you. Harley just finished his puppy classes, and aced. When do you think would be a good time to start and introduce reg OB for him. At what age is it normally. We still practice at home and outside. Like the class enviroment.

| Re: OB training for a puppy ??? depends on the class - some have lower age limits like >5 months, >6 months - but that doesn't mean you can't train at home for a month or two if they won't let you in the big dog classes. Obviously they don't want 8wk puppies in the novice obedience classes - so they have to pick some arbitrary minimum age. However, the age limits are usually somewhat flexible. |

| Re: OB training for a puppy ??? Daisy was also the puppy wiz in her puppy class They had a 6 month limit in beginners obedience. I just called them and they knew who she was and let her in at 5 months. She is doing extremely well in that class also so I'm not sorry we got her in early. She loves the classes and I swear to God she shows off! |
