reagaining Leadership over my pushy puppy

Hello!

Our 3 month old puppy Igor is a very afffectionate, sweet dog.

My partner and I want him to see us as equals however I deffinately can see that he has much less respect for me.

He recently bit me and since then has growled at me when I go to pet him in his bed.

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to regain leadership over my dog.

Since last week I have been the only one who feeds him and I have been doing this by hand with chicken and his favourite foods to gain his interest and get his attention and respect.

Thanks
