Changing from puppy food to adult Food?

Recently, I've been told by several people that I should be feeding my 80 lb. - 7 month old rotty, Max; adult food and not the large breed puppy food. Does anyone know when I should be converting to the adult formulas?:)

I converted my pups over when we got them at 10 weeks. We began feeding them Canidae, which is an all age kibble. What type of Adult food do you plan on feeding?

I want to give him the Wellness Dog Food, which is an holistic brand with no preservatives in it.
