Re: What are the best training treats for Rottie Puppies?

I took some leftover ring bologna that I had fried in bacon grease to class once. I think I could have asked Moby to stand on his head and speak Latin that night.

I don't have this problem with Chili - soft treats go straight down the hatch, but anything crispy/dry she chews....even Evo small bites and they're tiny! I just love watching her flap her bottom jaw to crunch up a tiny kibble - it's so darn cute I can't stand it.

Smart girl you have there. We even try teaching them the "chew" command by using peanuts as treats. Nope, GULP...and they go down the hatch without a chew. I tried using Cheerios as training treats...same thing...no chewing..just gulping ,and then hacking it back up.
