| IBD & Lymphangiectasia article Great article and info. in the 2000 The Rottweiler Annual (www.hoflin.com) - written by *our own* Caroline S and Jo Lynne York and the vets that helped develop a treatment plan and diets for their two dogs. Just though people might be interested in this resource. Also, Jo Lynne's vet (Austin, TX) is willing to do email or telephone consultations regarding lymphangiectasia. And there's even an article in The Annual by *our* Mick Trainer too. What more could you want? :D Needless to say, none of the authors of the article make ANY money off this publication's sales and were not paid for their articles either ;). Nancy

| Hi Nancy, I clicked on the site but can't get through, it says no response and the system may be down. I'll try again a little later. I didn't know if anyone else tried it. Thanks. Judy |

Nancy is far too modest to say anything, but she has a great article in the Annual as well. All three articles by our Rott.Net buddies are excellent. (Of course. LOL) ;) |

| I forgot to mention that if anyone's vet wants to talk to Jo Lynne's vet about Carlo's treatment for lymphangiectasia, she will be happy to do so. You can email me and I will send you her email address &/or other contact information. Nancy |

| I'd just like to add a couple of comments....... CarolineS put me in touch with JoLynne when Luna was so ill and I was really, REALLY afraid I would lose her. JoLynne immediately put me in touch with her vet, Dr. Boggs, who not only contacted me from her home (and on a Saturday, no less), but also spoke with my vet, Dr. Stern, on several occasions. The two vets exchanged clinical information which was very helpful to devising Luna's treatment. JoLynne didn't quit there. We corresponded via e-mail several times during the time Luna was so touch-and-go and she helped me with some of the more practical aspects of managing Luna's illness. And then there's CarolineS. Some of you followed the threads when Luna was so sick, but for those of you who did not, it's worth doing a search. I couldn't have asked for anything more! CarolineS jumped right in and shared her wealth of knowledge on the subject and I just know that if I asked a question she wasn't sure about, she was searching high and low for the answer. So, I'd just like to tell anyone who needs this kind of help - GRAB IT! This disease is very murky and these people are truly able AND willing to guide you towards safer water! And I still have one HAPPY Rottie to prove it! |
