I've used Healthwise Chicken & Oatmeal in my rotation. The price per bag went up a few dollars, but I can get a 40 lb bag locally for $32.95.

Re: Alert for Canidae Users: Formula Changes

For the 5 dogs living in my house 3 are fed Healthwise Chicken & Oat, and do wonderfully on it. The other 2 are fed Innova EVO, these two cannot tolerate the grain in the Healthwise or the low calorie count. I have used many "top 10" dog foods over the years and have excellent luck with these. Healthwise is actually what I switched to when California natural changed it's ingredients.

Wow, I'm glad I've been switching to Orijen Large Breed Puppy. Her coat looks great already and I'm still mixing half and half.

Re: Alternatives to feeding Canidae?

We were going to try Taste of the Wild but i see that is produced at diamond also.I dont know if that is really a bad thing or not but the lingering thought of the disaster they were involved in is hard to forget. My wifes boss is a distributer for Flint River Ranch. He is getting us some samples of it and if the dogs like it we are going to switch to that
