dos any body know if dr johns chicken silver medal complete food is ok or rubbish has i have heard so many pepole ues it

I'd never heard of it, but I checked the website and here were the ingredients listed:

Cereals, meat and animal derivatives (min. 4% chicken), minerals, oils and fats.
With antioxidants BHA and BHT.

I wouldn't feed my dog any food that had cereals as the first ingredients.

BHA and BHT are chemical preservatives. They are known carcinogens.
