Which to feed meat or veggies or both???

Hello, I am new so please forgive me. I have 2 rottie's and am still feeding them dry food. I want to switch them over to the raw food diet, but I am very confused. Some of you only give meat & bones and others give veggies, fruits, and meat. Do I give them both? Can they live with only meat or do the need veggies to. Sorry again, I just don't know what to do yet.

Hi, sounds like you need to do some more reading and learning before starting in on a raw diet.
Unfortunately, I don't know how to post links to previous threads. If you check in the Nutrition Grooming Forum there is a thread recently started (Feeding Raw-How to know....)where a member posted links to several excellent sites that discuss raw feeding. Hopefully someone more computer savvy than myself can maybe post a link to that thread.
You will find lots of differing opinions about feeding raw. You'll have to decide what you feel is best for you and your dog.

I feed raw following the raw prey model. I've been very pleased with switching my dogs' diet from premium kibble to raw since switching in June 2007.

Do you have a freezer? I'm feeding three adult Rotties raw and need a freezer.
