This is what I use too! Its funny because Nisha is fine with the high velocity blow dryer (which is WAY louder than a vacuum) but she HATES the vacuum . I have never tried to use it on her however...maybe she would like that better!

I've tried to vac my dogs, they are not happy about it. I think it would be a great idea, but probably would have to "start" them as pups.

Re: Does anyone here vacuum there pup/dog?

My mother vacuums my dog when she dog sits for me, but it's only her back she vacuums. Plus it's my junky feather lite dirt devil and doesn't have the best suction on it. Neyla seems to enjoy it, is not bothered by the sound of it. A blow dryer on the other hand is a different story, she will settle after 5 minutes, but point a blow dryer on cool setting on her after a bath and she tries to play attack it.

Mine either attack the vacuum cleaner or go hide, so I have never tried to vacuum them. I don't blow dry them either, just go through lots of towels drying them after their bath.

If I could vacuum my Fluffernutter my life would be PERFECT.

If a genie gave me 3 wishes ALL THREE would be to be able to vacuum Cyrus.

Re: Does anyone here vacuum there pup/dog?

My 5 month old Rottie loves being vacuumed, in fact there isn't much he doesn't love...LOL. I remember my father vacuuming the family Great Dane we had when I was little. This dog was HUGE. All the neighbors thought we were crazy because my dad would have a discussion with the dog over whose turn it was to use the vacuum...his or hers.

All my dogs have never liked the vacuum. However a friend trained his GSD to sit and calmly allow her to be hoovered.
