exercise/loosing weight

not quite sure if i should post this here but since this small problem is related to my previous post here probably its better...

not a big deal... since ive started increasing our walk and play... ( because he was bored and destroying things at home) ive noticed he has loosed weight... and now the question is shall i increase his food? more exercise, more food?

someone in the neighbourhood told me that he has lost weight when the "more exercise" has started, he said its a dog not a horse and i shall increase his food now and let him be a "rott"

im not quite sure rott=big so whats next now?

ps: but ive already started to give him eggs in the morn and vits...

if your dog has recently been checked and is in good health and free of parasites, then yes, more exercise, loosing weight, increase food. i usually increase 1/4 cup at a time until dog is in good weight and maintaining it for its activity.

no, fat is not good. you should be able to feel his last 2-3 ribs easily and see a waist when veiwed from atop.

glad you got him exercising! great for both of you and decreases destructive behavior.
