Lymphoma and Raw Diet?

I am curious as to his diet.
I have been working on his diet some. As he doesn't enjoy the kibble unless it is mixed with yogurt, cottage cheese, vegtable soup, chicken soup or maybe mackeral. I also bought some canned Pink Salmon. Furthermore, I have been feeding him some raw beef and raw chicken wings. I am trying to incorporate some good protein into his diet... Any thoughts on this? Is Raw ok for dogs that have cancer? I have read conflicting info. Although, I did read on B-Naturals it is ok to feed raw with cancer...
I will be getting him some supplements tomorrow, at the Holistic vet, for his immune system, to help keep it strong. Or maybe I will order them from B-Naturals?? Has anyone ordered from them? Are they good?

Thanks!

Re: Lymphoma and Raw Diet?

B-Naturals is a great resource. I have ordered supplements from them and have always been pleased. The owner is a nutritionist, very knowledgeable and breeds Rottweilers.

Re: Lymphoma and Raw Diet?

You can contact L Olson of B-Naturals and have a free consultation for your dog. Yes, raw is okay to feed to a dog with cancer. There is also a cooked diet that is explained in one of their newsletters. With the consultation, you will learn about specific suppliments that are beneficial to your dog.

Re: Lymphoma and Raw Diet?

I have a small dog with cancer, neurofibrosarcoma. He is fed a cancer starving diet - high in protein and fat, with no grains and little carbs - and I make it myself, raw. I think his diet has played a huge role in keeping him healthier than expected. Lymphoma is a much more aggressive cancer, though.

B-Naturals is a wonderful resource. I use several of their supplements- the immune blend, the green blend. Lew Olson is very knowledgeable.

I would also recommend trying to get some of the cancer articles in the Whole Dog Journal, I have found them to be extremely helpful, in terms of nutritionan and supplementation.
