Iams Eukanuba, Hills, Pedigree for 10 Mo. Puppy?

Would anyone recommend Iams, Eukanuba, Hills Science or Pedigree for a growing 10 mo. old male Rott Pup (He is about 90+ now) He does not do well on canned Pedigree or Caneed/mix with dry, runny stools. Switch over to Iams puppy dry only and stools look good after 3 days. My female, Nikeeta - Rest in Peace, ate Pedigree cans for almost her whole 10 years here and did well on that. Any thoughts or expierences appreciated.

You may want to check the archives on this one! Most people with say one of these, Canidae, Wellness, Innova, and more!!!

I would look at the ingrediants on all the brands you mentioned. I know that Iams used to be a top grade food, until Procter and Gamble bought them. (Note: I'm a horrible speller!)

I feed my boys Canidae, and they've thrived on it. They're coats have become so shiny! (of course that's also because they're losing their puppy fuzz!)

Check out this website... Found it in the archives...

dog food comparison

I didn't see Canidae on there...

You want to stay away from food that have animal by-products. That means you're feeding your dog eyes, and feet, and chicken beaks, yuck! You want them to have human grade meat. Stuff you'd want to eat!!!

When I first started out I was feeding Purina, that was years ago.

Then, once I got my oldest dog Odin I started him on Nutro Puppy Large Breed. However, after I read enough information on this forum I changed over to Innova. Innova was a wonderful food, but tends to be rich and my Odin could not handle that.

Finally I settled upon Canidae, which is my favorite dog food to feed ever. The ingrediants are WONDERFUL and all 3 of my dogs love it. It makes them shiney, healthy, and happy - at least in my opinion. The best part is that it is an all life stage dog food so you can feed it to puppies, adults, and seniors :)

Yes, please follow myandromeda's advice & read thru all the postings in this Forum & then read thru the Archives. None of the foods you mentioned is top drawer and there are many foods easily available that are much better.
