| Re: Blue Buffalo Wilderness It looks like a good food, and the only time I have tried it was when they had a free sample thing to send on their website. I looked at the ingredients, compared calories and price and stuck with the Canidae lamb and rice. I did use the sample for treats though and Dodge loved it. Sorry I could not be more help. sharon |

| Re: Blue Buffalo Wilderness I was feeding it to my dogz for a couple of months - then I could not find it in the stores. I met & spoke to their local rep on a couple of occasions. Last week he told me there was some kind of "mechanical meltdown" (my interpretation) in the plant that was producing Wilderness. So I stopped using it - as the supply was not reliable. At the time I did not have any issues with it as a kibble. I prefer to see potatoe a little lower in the ingredient list. From my perspective, it is better than the Canadae, and most kibble products out there. They are working on the problem - and hopefully by late summer this should be corrected & production will be running as it should. SO I am told - |

| Re: Blue Buffalo Wilderness Interesting...another super-premium comany to offer a grain-free kibble. Glad to see more and more doing this. Personally, I feed EVO and am thrilled with the results I've seen. 2 things I noticed with the Blue... 1) It says it is 589kcals per cup and that the recommended feeding amount for dogs 100lbs and over (my rottn is 105lbs) on the bag is 6 - 7&1/2 cups!! Yikes! I hope people know that they shouldn't follow the bag recommendations! That would be over 3500 calories a day at a minimum! I only feed my boy 2&1/2 cups a day (and EVO is 537kcals/cup)!!2) The largest bag you can buy is 26lbs, where the EVO is 28lbs. I'm guessing that Blue is probably charging around the same amount as EVO and you get less. (I pay around $45 for EVO.) Overall, it's a possiblity for including in a grain-free rotation, and it's good to have options. |

| Re: Blue Buffalo Wilderness Yes, it is a good deal...the other local store that carries it charges around $52, so I'm hoping this store doesn't catch on that it's cheap! |

| Re: Blue Buffalo Wilderness Quote:
The kibble the OP asked about contains barley and oatmeal thus is not a grain free kibble. |

| Re: Blue Buffalo Wilderness Blue Wilderness is not that expensive. $40.00 for a 26lb bag at petsmart. The Orijen I am currently feeding is around $70.00 for 29lbs!! |
