Wellness

Has anyone tried this brand of dog food? And if so what, what do you think of it? Rocket I think has a sensitive stomach and I was suggested to switch to a sensitive brand of dry dog food. Right now he if Purina One for sensitive stomaches but I know Purina is not a good brand. I was told wellness is a really good brand and to try their Simple Food Solutions Venison Formula. I might go pick up a small bag today and slowly try it on him. Just wondering.

Re: Wellness

RE: Purina ONE.... it's not that bad. Probably the best there is to be found in the grocer. Beware of foods with grains like corn.

I suggest to people that they simply buy the best food they can afford to do without breaking the bank, so to speak.

Wellness is a very good food - they have many very simple formulas, so it'd be a good idea to try it if it's within your budget.

Natura, Innova and Merrick foods are also very high on my list of favorites.

Re: Wellness

Sheena had chronic UTI's and I had found that the Wellness Super 5 Chicken dry food was the best for her. I haven't used the Simple Food Solutions Venison formula but it would be worth a try.

Re: Wellness

I've given mine Wellness's Fish & Sweet Potato. They both seemed to do well. After that I think I switched them to Innova Evo as part of the rotation I was doing at the time.

Re: Wellness

I use Wellness super 5 chicken and I think its great. She loves it, its not that expensive and Ive heard so much good about it, I just dont want to change. I have seen reviews(not sure if independent) that broke down what is in our dogs food and Wellness had the least fillers.

However it is rich, or at least it seems to be as if she eats more then a cup at a time (shes 4.5 months) her stool gets looser.

Good luck choosing!
