Very little feeding

Hello all,

have actually got 2 rots of five weeks old. A male (beau) and a female (coffee). I am actually feeding them with OIB CAN PUPPY (No 86). They are each having 100g of OIB per day (50g at 0730 and 50g at 1730).

beau take its 100g / day without any prob and it stills look hungry afterwards. coffee on the other side eat very little... I have to convince it eating by making several tricks:
1. changing her bowl (same food in another bowl and back again)
2. making noise with the food by plunging my hand in her bowl....
3. feeding her by placing the food in my hand
etc....
but it barely reaches the 50 g per day

After 10 days that I have them in my possession, I can really see a big difference now between their sizes (initially they were identical), coffee being smaller...

sometimes I give coffee raw yolk and I see that it really likes that...
I have been told not to give anything else than OIB CAN... Also, I'm not sure if giving yolk regularly to my 5 weeks old coffee is recommended.....

I am actually desperate... any feedbacks welcome....

Re: Very little feeding

I'm not sure what country you are from, but those puppies should never have been taken from their dam or siblings at this age. Return them to the breeder! The fact that they would even sell you two puppies from the same litter much less at too early of an age tells all of us that they are back yard breeders and just in it for the money. I can only imagine that neither the sire or dam has had any health testing done.

Re: Very little feeding

the other posters are right - these pups are way too young and need to go back to wherever you got them. pups separated this young are destined for serious problems. you say you've had them 10 days ... please don't tell me you got them at 4 weeks

Re: Very little feeding

I agree with everyone else return them until they're older if possible....but....
If these breeders are that stupid and obviously in it for the money think twice before taking the puppies back to THEM.

I know some may disagree but from personal experience I will say that worst things could be done to these puppies if they are returned
