| Thin hair on lower neck Lily is now 3 months old. I have been wondering about the hair on her lower neck. It seems a little thin. I wasn't sure if this was just a puppy thing that she would grow out of or if it was from her collar rubbing her neck. We keep her collar on at all times but it is definitely loose enough to where i can fit 3-4fingers under it easily. I posted some new pics of her in the gallery if you'd like to see what i mean. |

| Re: Thin hair on lower neck A friend of mine has a rotte that has thin fur like that on her neck and I believe it's because she wears a collar 24-7.

| Re: Thin hair on lower neck I am assuming this young pup is crated? If so, please remove the collar when crating the pup. There is always that freak chance that the collar could get hung up on something and cause injury, or even death. IMO,there is no need for a young pup to be collared 24/7. Best wishes- kathy |
