| Evangers canned food, Question about whole chicken bones Was wondering if anyone uses Evangers canned food? Specifically one called 'Chicken Drumettes'. My friend bought a can to mix in with dry food for her elderly Am. Eskimo who has a picky appetite and missing teeth. My friend was surprised to find several chicken bones in the food. She called the company and was told that this was normal and that the cooking process used made the bones easily eaten. My friend thought that at the very least there should be a warning on the can that it contained bones that could cause choking or worse. The Evangers employee stated that they haven't had any complaints. I feel that chicken bones can cause trouble and cooked ones should be avoided. Any thoughts?
