Re: What kind of brush?

Daily brushing with the rubber curry, and then a combing to get any additional loose fur.

Shedding blade and camel hair brush daily. SHe's sheeding like mad lately. Might look in to the furminator.

Re: What kind of brush?

I use the equine grooming block on Erda. I got mine in the equine section at PetsMart. It looks like the pumice stone that can be used on people heels, only it is larger. Can be rubbed on a cement sidewalk to refurbish the roughness.

Re: What kind of brush?

We have a retractable slicker-wich I use to get the fur out of the boars bristle hand brush....lol. Gunner doesnt really like the slicker, I think its to pokey. And I use the shedding blade daily. He's not shedding as much as he was in the beginning of summer. I usuallly wet him down everyday and comb his fur out with the shedding blade, he loves it!! We have a finishing spray too, but dont really use it much.

Re: What kind of brush?

I have a medium FurMinator...works great in shedding season (about over....Yeah). Throughout the rest of the year Kong Zoom Groom. The furMinator is for the undercoat...so always Zoom Groom to stop the tumbleweed population!!! I will have to say I was pleased at FurMinators response to RottStock! We have 1 and so does MD...good for FurMinator...Tina

Re: What kind of brush?

the furminator was on sale at petsmart.com for considerably cheaper. i got the medium sized one for $35. you can easily get it price matched in the store if you don't wait/want to pay for shipping. i just printed out the item and they gladly matched it. it was in the store for $50
