Re: Loosing hair on the belly up to breast side

if she is intact and due to come in heat soon, she can look a little bare in coat under bellie, around nipples, and around neck.
if she is not, can be fleas, heat, and in some cases can be skin problems.
if you see sores, scabbie areas, redness, have a vet do a skin scrape to rule out bacteria vs mange. or check thyroid.

at what age(mos.) does rott get to heat? for 1st timers. she ok she very active and eats a lot i see no sign of problems just the thinning hair on the belly and a little some on the neck her upper coat is good and normal.

could this also be the mat that she's laying?

Re: Loosing hair on the belly up to breast side

they typically come in heat anywhere from 6-18 months for the first cycle with 9-12 being more average. so looking at her age, that might be it.

sometimes where they lie down, if used a harsh detergent on floors, etc, can cause some itchiness and hairloss.

but in your case, if she is otherwise looking good and the rest of her is fine, she might be coming in season within 1 - 1 1/2 mos.

Re: Loosing hair on the belly up to breast side

yeah maybe your right. coz i've been seeing hair fall down from her, but never notice when she all of a sudden she curled around and found that thinning hair lately.

thanks.
