Diamond--new ingredients

I am just wondering about the Diamond Natual Puppy food for my new 4 month old pup. I have read some previous threads that talk about the bad scare in the beginning of the year, with the corn and what not, but this puppy food doesn't have corn in it. The 1st ingredient is Lamb.
Just wondering since the staff at our local pet store said they have really changed their ingredients since the ordeal.

Your thoughts on this would be much appreciated!

Re: Diamond--new ingredients

I will not use any Diamond products...I did try their Chicken Soup product which sounded good but noticed my dog's and cat's coats started looking dull so switched. Even the stray cats (that I put a bowl of food out for) hardly touched the Diamond cat food. Plus I would be quite concerned about how much quality control they do on their product. My opinion would be there are alot of better foods out there.

Re: Diamond--new ingredients

Well, I don't feed Diamond, but know they also make the Chicken Soup food. The consensus seems to be that there are better foods out there than Diamond . Some old threads I read said that for their affected food with corn they were now examining the food 12 times instead of four.

For those more knowledgeable about food, maybe you could let them know why you want to feed Diamond. Is it availability? Price?

ETA: Sorry I couldn't be of more help.
