Watery Stools!

i currently feed my pup barf mixed with a holistic recipe dog food.. since yesterday she had these watery stools and there were no straces of solid or firm stool.. can someone advice me what to do or what did i do wrong? this is my first rottie puppy.. thanks for the help.. by the way.. i feed her "sawdust" brown rice with green peas and carrots.. thanks!

WHen Gypsy had diahrrea she had coccidia, also the last time she got whipworms from the dog park, Have your vet check for coccidia and girada(spelling) if it doesnt clear up by tommorrow.. maybe try withholding food for a day thats what I did and if it was just an upset tummy it cleared up, but if it was something medical it didnt

i followed ur advice to withheld food for a day and at supper i checked at her and her stool was solid but a little soft but its better than all watery.. thanks for the advice..

I would stop feeding a "mish mash" of different foods to your pup. In another thread you said you were feeding red beans and milk.

Find a good quality food and feed it without adding all sorts of things to the diet. Once the pup's stomach has settled down, you can add some lean meat, or yogurt or an egg, veggies or some fruits.

Since you are feeding a pup, unless you are very well versed on the BARF diet I would not be raising a pup on it. Too many things can go wrong nutrionally if things are not balanced right for a growing pup. When the pup is grown then try the BARF diet after you have done some research.

Glad to hear that your pup's stools are getting more solid.

thanks for the advice... canidae is unavailablae here i have to order from manila in order to get a bag.. thats a little expensive.. im choosing between royal canin and pro plan.. which is bette? thanks again..
