| Re: When is the adult coat complete? My puppy is now almost 7 months old and although her coat looks as though it is an complete adult coat, my own rule of thumb is after their first real 'shed'. Wicca just started to actually shed her coat for the first time other than when her puppy fuzzies were coming out, so once she is done here, I expect to see what her coat will look like - although to say that, I am almost positive it will look as it does right now !I have not had a dogs' coat really change after 6 months old, but I have a friend whose male puppy was HAIRY, not long coated, but HAIRY to the point of fuzziness. He shed for the first time at 10 month and now his coat is flat. Many lines are different in respect to coat changes too, so that can be a variable to think about. Kristi

| Re: When is the adult coat complete? I've had puppies that had complete coat changes up to 14 months of age.
