Quality food for my little Axa...

Hello.

I'm new to this forum, and I must say I already learned a huge lot of things just by reading a few threads here. Firstly, I realised that my babies (Axa, my 5 month old rottie, and Vicky, a 1,5 old "Dogue Argentin") have been fed with low quality food since day one. The reason being NO-ONE sells quality dog food in here (Martinique, Caribean).

Since yesterday, I've been looking all around the web for a way to order some Innova Evo food for my babies, but none of the shops I found accept to ship where I live. I'm pretty desperate... So, here's my question:

Does anyone here know of an online shop for dog food (preferably EVO) which can ship worldwide?

I know it'd cost me much money for the shipping, but really, my dogs have always been having terrible gas and breath, numerous skins problems, and from day to day, I can see they are just not in as a good fit as they should be... I'm using ProPlan, which is the highest quality food found in here.

Hope someone can help...

Sorry for my poor english, I did my very best :)

Cheers...

EDIT: here she is at 1.5/2 months old: http://nullctl.org/axa.jpg

Not sure who would ship to you.

Do you have quality meats down there for human consumption? You might want to think about cooking your dogs food or going raw if you can't find anything better than Pro-Plan.

I am of no help on th efood issue, but that Axa, what a sweet pup ya have there!! I would also consider the BARF diet if you can't find a good kibble. Do a search for BARF, and you will find loads of info.

Good luck

I think I've got a friend in BC who gets Timberwolf shipped to her. They have a web site if you'd like to check it out.

If the only food you can get is Proplan...then I would add some meat (chicken, lamb, goat or beef), or add fish, also some steamed veggies (anything you are making for yourself), and some fruits (melons, banana's,berries, etc). Also some yogurt, or eggs or canned fish ( sardines, makeral, etc).
Don't add everything everyday though...and start slowly. You could start with adding some meat 1/2 cup to puppie's food and a few veggies. The next day try an egg and some fruit, etc.
As long as the dogs are getting some fresh foods added in the diet...3-4 times per week...they will be fine.

I would be more worried if I were you, about having 2 females , close in age...both of dominant breeds. Things may not go well when your pup reaches maturity.
