coat help!

well, i switched guinness from her purina one to canidae (sometimes with some pumpkin) a couple of months back...
it seems that she is shedding worse (which i expected due to the summer), but her coat looks so ... so... unshiny. dull. not glossy like it used to.

any ideas??? it seems to have helped her gas problem a *bit*, but i'm more concerned about her coat. it looks so dry now. should i be trying another food? adding something? she likes the food, but then again... there's not much she WON'T eat.

thanks!
susanna

One suggestion would be to suppliment with a fish oil capsule...I do that with my dogs and they all have great, shiny coats.

as well as a great diet that my Harley is on, he also is supplemented with salmon oil caplets. I buy mine in any pharmacy. Alot cheaper, works well

Human grade...can buy them anywhere...I use fish oil but some others on this site prefer salmon. One per day (I think the standard capsule is 1000 units). Fish oil has omega 3 which is quite beneficial so the shiny coat is a bonus!!
