Feeding times and amount???

Jazmin is 11 weeks old, I feed her three times a day at 5:30AM-6:00AM, 2:00PM and 9:00PM. I spread these times evenly so she's not hungry at night. I feed her one cup of dry food and 1/5 can of wet - mixed. Are these times and amounts (for now) OK? She's about 20 lbs.

Wow, she's 20 lbs at 11 weeks... My pup is 3 months and he is just hitting the 30 lbs mark...

I feed 1/2 a cup dry food 4 times a day..

6am, 12p, 4pm, 8pm

She's a big girl, maybe I'm feeding her too much?

I did feed Jazmin Nutro Natural Choice Large Breed Puppy food until a week ago and now she's on prescription IVD Dog food because the vet thinks she's allergic. But he didn't specify how much food when I asked so I just followed feeding instructions on the back of Nutro, he said that's.

I'd like to remind all of you that all pups are not going to weigh the same amounts at the same ages. Size is determined first by genetics and then the boys will weigh more than the girls at the same age (normally). The amount of bone and body structure that your dog has determines its weight at any given time.

Do not think you need to overfeed your puppy (which can result in hip problems as they mature) just because someone else's pup weighs more at this age of their lives.

The pup should have a waist, and you should be able to feel its ribs when you place light pressure on his/her sides.

Be careful, do not overfeed them thinking it will make them bigger in the long run. Genetics don't work that way.

Have fun with all your pups!

That seems small to me but maybe it's because she's a female. We've only ever had males. Our male is 13.5 weeks old and he's closing in on 30 lbs. Totally lean and not fat whatsoever.

We feed Nutro Natural Large Breed Puppy Food (Lamb). He's done really well on it but we're considering upgrading him to Canidae for his next bag.

Yeah because my best friend bout my boys sister... The girl was first born and at 3 months she is almost 38/40 lbs.. she's not over weight or anything, she its just bigger than he is... My boy looks like he is growing taller rather than "thick"... I'll keep feeding as I am, I am in no rush to have him grow up... LOL!!! I am enjoying my puppy a whole bunch..
