Chicken hearts in training treats

OMG!!! I wanted to add some variety to Bailey's training treats to see if I could peek her interest during training and thought I would make some of Brooke's liver brownies....well...there wasn't a chicken liver to be had in any of our locals stores..but I did come across some chicken hearts and simplified the recipe to this ...........................Bailey LOVES these

I pound of chicken hearts and two eggs in a blender til smooth.
Enough flour..I used spelt flour until the consistency of brownie mix.
Placed onto an oiled (I used almond oil) cookie sheet and spread mixture to about 1/2 thickness...Bake at 350 F for about 35 minutes...cool and cut into 1/2 inch squares and freeze what you aren't going to use right away.

I also had (in the freezer) tuna brownies and salmon brownies.........so today's training session included some of all three, so she never knew what was coming next

I regularly make salmon and liver brownies. I'll have to add these into the rotation!

Re: Chicken hearts in training treats

Ooooh! I'm going to have to make some of these!

Julius adores chicken hearts. And chicken heart brownies would probably be his idea of heaven.

Thanks Jory!
