| Mandatory Grooming Tools Happy and Healthy New Year to everyone! I'm trying to find out what tools everyone uses on their Rotties. Right now I have a rubber curry comb, a slicker brush and a sheding blade. The amount of hair she is sheding is incredable. Help! Thanks NNJRott |

| Re: Mandatory Grooming Tools The best tool I have found so far is fish oil pills!!!! It helps reduce the shedding dramatically. I also use a zoom groom, but it does not trap the fur, so it gets used out side. It is soft rubber, so you can rub harder and not worry about the pointy bits like elbows and such. For inside grooming I use a shed-x blade, it works really well if they are wet!

| My favourite is an undercoat rake...works great for any breed that has a double coat. It takes all of that fluffy, floatey stuff out. I usually do my brushing outside. A good diet also helps to keep shedding to a minimum and keeps doggie smell away too. Gina
