When to switch from Puppy to Reg Eagle PK??

I have been reading the posts on Eagle Pack trying to pick out a good time to switch over to the Holistic Eagle Pack from Puppy formula.

I have two dogs. One male rottie that is 13 months old and one Female Rottie/mix that is 4 months old. Too keep them separated while eating is a joke sometimes. I will put the puppy in her crate when I feed them. She will sit there and wait untill the our male is done. She sometimes with touch her food and sometimes not. She likes to wait and see if he leaves any for her to eat. She will go and eat his left overs if he leaves any, but while she is checking his bowl out he goes and tries to eat hers untill she comes over and decides to eat it.

So to make a long story short I just wound up feeding them the same food. So I asked my vet when would be a good time to switch her over to regular food. She said when I get her fixed, should be a good time. That our male is not in any means over weight and if he gained some more it would not hurt him.

I'd switch now. It appears the baby doesn't like it anyway.

One she comes out of her crate, the bowls should be put up. Allowing her to choose encourages picky eating, which is a tough habit to break. Nip it in the bud!
