Re: Bil-Jac Select

It used to be a pretty good food but I havent seen it in years. I used to use their refrigerated moist food.

Re: Bil-Jac Select

I have used Bil-Jak in the past when transitioning fosters from my usual raw if the adopter preferred to feed kibble. They do sell it at Petsmart.

Re: Bil-Jac Select

BilJac is a terrific product. It needs to be refigerated because it contains real meat.
We had our Husky on it for years when he showed allergic reactions to certain food dyes used in dry foods. When we got the rott/shep mix this year, we used it to whet her appetite and get some weight on her.
The only drawback is if your dog doesn't immediately chow down, the food 'turns' like any real meat. You'll have to toss it out because even dogs don't like the smell!

Re: Bil-Jac Select

Bil-Jac frozen and Bil-Jac kibble are nothing alike. The kibble contains byproducts, corn, chemical preservatives, multiple sugars and added salt.

I personally don't find any of these ingredients essential to my dogs' diets.
