| FYI - DentaGreen Big Bone Hey guys, this is just to save you the head slapping (if you're as silly as me). I was at PetSmart and saw the DentaGreen Big Bone. They're individually wrapped and sold for $2.99. It looked like a marrow bone stuffed with a greenie-type filling. Considering the thing weighs almost half a pound, the packaging says "longer lasting chew" and "The snack for large dogs", I thought it was a real marrow bone, It's not a real bone, so don't buy it thinking that it is. Add insult to injury, it gave Athena diarrhea, but who knows if it affects all or most dogs like that. ...oh, and she finished it in less than 5 minutes. It's softer than a greenie.

| Re: FYI - DentaGreen Big Bone I actually just looked at those today and thought that they probably wouldn't last long! But we can eat a greenie bone in less than 10 minutes... |

| Re: FYI - DentaGreen Big Bone The largest greenie lasts about 2 minutes with my dogs. Given how expensive they are, they only got them once. The denta bones give my dogs the runny poos so they're out, too. I was lucky enough to hit the mother load of marrow bones at the grocery store the other day (bought all six packs - 2 per pack). That should keep them for awhile! |
