| Wellness Allergy? Sam is 3 years old and has been on Wellness Super5 Chicken for the past year and a half. Twice during this time he has gone through bad (both have been weeks at a time about six months in between) itching/licking almost constantly each day. Our vet did see him both times and this last time put him on a steroid for the past month. He is just about done with the pills and although it may have every so slightly helped, he is still going at it day and night it seems. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

| Re: Wellness Allergy? If he's not reacting to it all the time, it's more likely that it's something other than the food that he's allergic to. Perhaps discuss allergy tests with your vet, rather than just treating the symptoms.

| Re: Wellness Allergy? Yes I think that is the route we are going to have to go. Our vet never even asked about the food so I would assume he didn't think it was that either ;)
