Supplement EFA-Z PLUS

Hi:

When I adopted Zeiss at 5mo of age his coat was dull, dry, and he had tons of dry skin. He was living in a kennel for about one month when I adopted him and I was told his coat was poor due to the dry kennel air. I took him to my vet and was given EFA-Z PLUS to add to his diet. Its a fatty acid and Zinc supplement. Now he is almost 8mo old and his coat and skin look great. I'm at the end of my Supplement. I feed Zeiss Canidae, should I continue to purchase and add the supplement?

Thanks.

The Canidae is more likely why his coat looks so much better. You could continue with the EFA-Z Plus or you could just use something like a fish oil supplement. They both do pretty much the same job.

Thanks, I was not sure if I should still use the supplement. I figured it would not hurt him to continue on using it but wanted to make sure.

A real good site to check for what dogs need in their diet is: http://www.bowchow.com
