male rottie skinny

hey guys i got a 2 1/2 year old female rottie and she is pretty bulky or weighs and looks just like any other rotties on the other hand my male rottie about 4 months yunger than her is skinny
the it the same food but he is not bulky enough he is more built like a pit bull not so much muscle though.oh his pure german with papppers female is half american and half german.

So, the females sire is of German descent, the dam is of American descent or vice versa?? Both parents of the male are of German descent? Other than that, no difference...

They grow up and they grow out - filling out in the chest area last, from what I've seen in the males here. What did his parents look like? What did his breeder say about his growth? What do his littermates look like??

If he is truely skinny as in boney, neuter him. Testosterone in dogs burns fat. Neuter the dog and they put on weight unless you restrict their diet
