Treats for special diets (prescription diets)

I have been asked by people whose dogs are on prescriped diets before what kind of treats to give them? And i have never figured out why the companies that make the special diets dont make treats too.
Anyway, i found a way to make treats when Chivas was battling osteo. She was getting N/D canned food in addition to RAW but always wanted a "treat" when the others got one. So, I took a can of N/D (they slide out whole well), sliced it into little "cookies" and baked them for about 45 mins till they were crispy. She loved them!
You can do this with any type of prescription canned food as they are pretty dense and slide out of the cans well.

Kodi is on a prescription diet because of renal failure. I make him treats out of his dry food. I just put about a cup of dry food in the blender, blend it until it is like flour. Then you add enough water to make a dough, roll it out and cut shapes out. Bake at 350 degrees for about 30-40 minutes or until crispy. Kodi loves them! :) And they are real easy to do......
