| I have been working my way through Carina's links... :D :D :D am starting to think best long term food bet might be to get a breeding pair of rabbits, hope they "multiply like rabbits" like they are supposed to do (what if they were monastic rabbits, who had taken chastity vows????), and let him eat not only raw but whole and fresh too. And if going on a trip just take a crate with a few rabbits in it. :D :D :D |

| I don't do whole bones. I either feed ground meat and bones OR meat with calcium citrate added (800 mg/lb)

| Haha! When I was a kid I bred rabbits (to sell for eating) and boy, do they BREED. :) Last fall Mick and I went out and tried actually killing some bunnies for the dogs to eat. They are also quite fast and clever, and neither of us actually wanted to hurt one without killing it outright with a .22. So we abandoned that idea. I still buy them - $1.50/lb, the guy actually sells them cheaper ground whole. Looks just like hamburger. :p
