Congratulations on your new pup!

There are many better foods than Iams - do a search on food, Iams, puppy feeding - on this forum.

Four small meals a day should suffice right now.

Here`s a link to the thread that has some good links for information on Iams. We were feeding Eukanuba to our pup since we thought it was a good product too, but after reading this stuff, we changed to Canidae which is much better!! But you decide for yourself, but even in the short time that we switched we have noticed changes in our 8 week old Raven.

oh and here is a link to the post that my husband and I had put in to find out about foods originally. You may find it informative as well.

I don't know where you are located but if this is an AKC registered pup, when you get your registration papers back from AKC there will be literature inside which will recommend switching to a good quality food. If you switch now, you'll be ahead.
