Made the switch to Canidae

After extensively reading posts about fod and allergies, I pretty much came to the conclusion that Dre might be allergic to the Nutro we were feeding him. Licking and over the top chewing at his hind end. He started this when we switched from Science Diet to Nutro. Bought a small bag of Canidae and brought it home. Mixed some in his dish with his Nutro., spit the Nutro on the floor.

Guess he's telling you what he thinks of the Nutro. LOL

I had my girl on Innova and started mixing Canidae into her bowl and she spit the Canidae out. I finally gave up on trying to give it to her. Even the best food isn't any good if the dog doesn't want to eat it.

Yes they do have a way of telling you what they like and don't like. My other Rottie that I had would make this face where he curl his lips and you could just tell he didn't like it.

When we switched Julius from Nutro to Canidae we did a 75% Nutro--25% Canidae mixture. Julius dug around in his bowl trying to find the Canidae. He spit the Nutro out a couple of times but I guess it was too much work so he just ate it all. :p

:)
