I use it for training for Parker. It's very similiar to 'Rollover'. It does sound like it would be an incredible diet - great ingredients. However, I could never afford to feed it to Parker! I'd be in the poor house!

But as a training treat? In which case, it's really a supplement to his diet. ;) It's great. :)

We also use it as a training treat-

Gretta would be in hog heaven if that were her exclusive diet, but our pockets aren't that deep :o :)

Just wondered if it was as good as it seemed. We have a number of people that do feed it exclusively..
this being in a wealthy retiree-filled community..lotsa people with one or two...maybe 3..SMALL dogs lol..that I have seen so far that feed it.
Maybe IF I bought if by the truckload..the discount would be enough.. that I could afford it for all my dogs

I use it for training too! It's terribly expensive... I already feed lots of raw meat & stuff to my doggers.

The store I get it at sells quite a bit. This is also an affluent community, I can't imagine many people feeding it daily. It would cost me almost $100.00 a week to feed it to all mine, I figured it out once.

Well I got a big Lamb and Rice one Sunday..it was like $665 with my discount..
the dogs loved it of course. Seemed like for the rest of the day they were VERY ATTENTIVE.. hoping I had some more for them..
I'm going to see if there is any possible way I could afford it if I bought a case or so of the big ones at a time..

Natural Balance rolls are actually the only commercial training treats I use. I mostly use cooked meat (chicken, liver, low sodium all beef hot dogs), cheese, carrots, and Cheerios, but it's great to have some cut up Natural Balance in the freezer for when I don't have other stuff on hand.

Love it

I love the rolls too...Elmo thinks they are super...he is very attentive when I am working him with that as the reward.

I also *love* their Duck and Potatoe dry food for allergies...Elmo has a corn allergy and I have seen a HUGE improvement since he has been on the food. His coat is super shiney and he looks spectacular!

I had changed my guys to Canidae two bags ago. I got home Friday night, out of food, and there are only two places around me that sell Canidae, and they both close at 6:00. So, got here on the forum, looked around, and now they are on Natural Balance Duck and Potato. Yes, it's expensive, a little over $1 a pound, but I think I can swing that because it's sold at Petco (half a mile away). Plus, on Canidae, Cain's coat became dull. I like the idea of no corn, wheat, rice, soy.
