Bad breath?

I switched the puppies from Nutro Natural large Breed Puppy to Innova on the 17. I have been slowly changing them over and they are currently getting 3/4 Innova and 1/4 Nutro. I will keep this up until the Nutro is totally gone.

Akasha used to have some pretty nasty breath. I swear I thought I was going to pass out several times when she went to give me a kiss it was so bad. I have noticed the past two days that her breath is not anything like it was. It doesn't even stink at all. Could the switch to Innova be responsible for this miracle or have I just totally lost all sense of smell? I am not complaining mind you. I am very thankful that for whatever reason I can now give her kisses without a gas mask

I was going to take her to the vet because it was so bad I was worried that there might be something serious going on but it seems to have resolved itself now. Could it have just been the food? Unfortunately we can't put away the gas masks yet because I am still waiting for Keil's little gas problem to go away. I am hoping that once his system is used to the Innova and he is no longer getting any Nutro it will stop and we can all breath freely again

Could well be the food.
Phoebe had ghastly breath her whole life, despite annual cleanings, access to chew bones - when I switched to a raw diet, for the first time in 9 years her breath stopped being stinky!

Pedigree breath busters are wonderful, although they contain garbage, they do contain something that makes my dog's kisses pleasant right down to the last lick ... :p
