Barf My dog always have runny poop after having beef marrow bone. If I am starting to to feed him BARF such as chicken necks, wings etc everyday, is his poop gona be runny as well? I really hates runny poop in backyard, it is impossible to clean up.

It's the bone marrow that upsets the tummy. I've had not problems feeding chicken necks. In fact, yard cleanup is a cinch now...less, and firmer.

| My dog does a combination. sometimes runny, sometimes as firm as a tree trunk. Just like humans, it depends on what you eat..

Rottyfan - As Solomon posted, the beef marrow is very rich and some dogs have problems as a result. Remember, marrow bones are recreational only, they are not a mainstay for a raw diet. Any raw meaty bones that are softer are ideal. Avoid turkey wings. Best wishes- kathy

Rottyfan, my dog also gets diarrhea from marrow bones. I take out almost ALL the marrow, then he doesn't get diarrhea so try removing it then see. That should work. As for necks and wings, Czar never had anything close to runny stools then. Hope this helps. Judy
