Puppy Size

My puppy, Zeus, is 16 1/2 weeks and weighs 38lbs, with no fat on him. He looks like he could add weight. As stated in a previous thread, he comes from a large line of Rotts in the 120 - 135lbs. I am curious as to his sizes compared to other Rotty pups. Anyone have pups close to his age?

Balance and proportion are more important than size. You want a nice lean puppy. No excess fat on him. He sounds about right for his size.

PUPPY SIZE

His proportion is perfect, aside from the size of his paws, their huge. He is lean, and shows signs of muscularity. Thanks for the input.

OMG! Now I think that Cane is a cow instead of a Rottie. He is 16 weeks old today and weighs 53. I've been proud of him though because I can feel his ribs easily, he has a defined waist line. I haven't measured how tall he is yet but he seems very proportioned to me. The vet says that he is doing good too. He also has very big paws.
