puppy to large breed adult food

I was just wondering when would be a good time to take Tyson off of the large breed puppy food and start him on the regular large breed food. Tyson will be 13 months on the 20th. I heard everything from 8 months to 2 years and figured i would be led in the right direction on here.

Thanks.
Fred

We put Brodie on reg. large breed dog food when he was about 9-10 months old. He is now 15 months old.

A lot of people just use a premium adult/all life stages food from 8 weeks onwards.
I say you change him to adult food now. The hive mind here :) recommends Canidae - it's excellent, I fed it when I still fed commercial food. But there are a number of very good foods.

This page is THE best link I have found on dog nutrition, I think everyone should bookmark it! Tons of info.
