Healthwise price increase...damnit

I was just getting ready to order my first bag of Healthwise (I currently feed Wellness). The quality seemed comparable and Helathwise was about 9 bucks cheaper per bag. Also, it is a 35 pound bag compared to Wellness 30 pound bag. WELL, the cheapest supplier I could find said Heathwise just recently raised their price due to recent ingredient changes. It went up almost 5 bucks per bag..Doesn't hardly seem worth it to change now.

Your retailer is full of it.

The wholesale price went up just a hair over $1 for the 35lb bags to pay for the reformulation and new bags.

We retail the adult chicken for $27/35lbs and the puppy for $28/35 lbs

We are in NH which is almost as far from the manufacturer as you can get and still be in the U.S.

I did some negotiating with a couple stores and I can get get the new "improved" version for $27.50 per bag. I'm picking it up in a couple days. Thanks again for the advice.
